Welcome to the Creative Education Foundation

CEF is the centre for Applied Imagination- helping individuals, organizations and communities transform themselves as they confront real-world challenges.

The Creative Education Foundation is a non-profit membership organization of leaders in the field of creativity theory and practice. Every day principles fostered by CEF programs are helping someone, somewhere in the world develop new products, make business operations run more profitably, restructure organization and agencies to become more effective and less encumbered, reinvigorate economies, make improvements in our schools, revitalize communities and replace ineffective methods and systems with new, more workable ones.

What's New:

CEF Endowment Challenge: CEF has been challenged to grow its endowment fund by $25,000 in 2008. All funds raised will be matched by the The Norman & Elaine Polsky Family Supporting Foundation (PFSF). Find out more about CEF's Endowment and the PFSF.

CEF Launches CPSI Story Well: In an effort to keep the CPSI spirit going year-round, CEF has been soliciting and publishing stories and reflections from the CPSI community that reflect the impact CPSI has had over its 54 year history. Click here to learn more.

CEF YouthWise South Africa Journal: Read Victoria Cliche’s account of a day spent at CEF YouthWise South Africa.

CEF Launches New Newsletter: The Integrating Creative Leadership Class of 2006 took on the challenge of how to help extend the CEF community. While our brainstorming ran the gamut of online web casts, Creativity MYSPACE and more, we are going to start simply, with a newsletter. Many thanks to the team of people (mainly volunteers) who created the newsletter. If you haven't already received it in your email box, click here to read the current issue online now!
