The Creative Education Foundation is dedicated to making the world a better place through innovation and creativity. Every day, principles fostered by our programs are helping people develop new products, restructure organizations, reinvigorate economies, improve schools, and revitalize communities.
At this year’s Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI), we debuted a new program called Creativity in the 21st Century Classroom. It is an introductory Creative Problem Solving course designed specifically to give educators tools to integrate creativity into their existing curricula.
The feedback we received was overwhelmingly positive. Participants loved the energy, the hands-on activities, and the opportunity to collaborate with other educators. They were excited to take the tools they learned back to their communities and unanimously said that they would recommend the class to their colleagues.
In order to continue to develop quality programs, we have to be able to make ends meet. Through our Annual Drive, we must raise $50,000 by the end of 2011 -- essential funds that would help close the gap between our operational expenses and revenue so that we can continue to grow our impact and provide scholarships and training for those in need.
