Thought Leadership
The Creative Education Foundation pioneered the discipline of creativity. Through research, we are building a quantifiable case for creativity: to demonstrate that creativity brings on-going high returns for individuals, organizations and societies; to discover better ways to unlock and develop people's creative potential; to build the same level of legitimacy for the discipline of creativity as the "hard" disciplines of math, science, management and finance, so that creativity is no longer viewed as a "nice-to-have", but a critical core competence. Areas of CEF's Thought Leadership include:
- CEF Press: CEF's catalog of books, tapes and videos about creativity
- Journal of Creative Behavior: CEF's quarterly journal of the most current research in creativity. For decades, JCB has been the benchmark scientific periodical in the field.
- Studies: Advancing the already strong CPS research base.
- Grants: Soliciting grants for our own research.
- Conferences: Sponsoring research and practitioner conferences on creativity.
- Process Development: Linking with education and training professionals for continual development of the creative thinking and problem solving process.
