We ask for feedback from people who attend the Florida Creativity Conference (FLCC) and the Creative Problem Solving Institute (CPSI) and our other training programs. We often hear things like “The people are great!” “CPSI is magical!” We love hearing this! But, creative integration demands that we push deeper to understand what has changed for us — in our behaviors, self-knowledge, interactions — how are the tools, skills, and mindset of Creative Problem Solving creating positive shifts in how we show up?
In an effort to walk my talk, I have been thinking about how CPS has made positive changes in my life. In this video, I talk about how CPS has made me a better leader and a better partner to the people in my personal life. For me, CPS has made me more patient and curious in times of stress. It has helped me recognize when my emotions rise up in the face of challenges or conflict that keep me from engaging fully, without judgement.
In the coming weeks, and at CPSI this year, we will be working to dig into and define specific outcomes from learning CPS or attending CPSI for people, personally and professionally. How has CPS or one of the Creative Education Foundation programs changed how you show up in your personal and professional life? I would love to hear from you about your outcomes.
