My Compass: Explore what’s next for you in 2022
Facilitators: Sari Gluckin and Laurel Komos
Date: 1:00-2:30 EST, January 12, 2022
“As you start to walk the way, the way appears.” – Rumi
Kick off the new year with an interactive session that invites you to read your internal compass and explore what might be your next gig, role or position. Rediscover what’s unique about you, what makes you come alive, and what you are most curious about learning next. Use these insights to create a vision board for your next growth opportunity or career direction. The themes within will reveal your path forward.
Your journey will unfold in two parts:
- My Coordinates: a short pre-workshop strength assessment based on text feedback from friends, family, and peers
- My Compass: a 1.5-hour generative session on Miro that helps you explore the shape of your plan and ways to move forward
We will provide a pdf booklet for those who would prefer to work “off the screen.”
Incessant ideator and refiner
Sari is a CEF core faculty member and a CPSI devotee. She brings a deep background as a MBA, designer, strategist, and integral coach. As the founder of Wishful Thinking, she leads innovation projects and hands-on workshops for diverse clients from small non-profits to multinational companies. She is also an adjunct professor at the IIT Institute of Design in Chicago where she teaches courses on facilitation and teaming methods and designs workshops around personal development.
Energetic super connector
Laurel’s passion lies at the center of design, business, and people. After a 3-year stint in advertising and branding, Laurel completed her Master of Design (MDes) degree at the IIT Institute of Design in Chicago in 2019 out of a desire to bring a more human-centered mindset to her design practice. Now, she works as a Senior User Researcher at Chime, where she collaborates with cross-functional partners to deliver financial peace of mind to everyday Americans.
